In the off season the Atlanta Braves have worked hard to replace key athletes lost in free agency or to injury. Pitcher Max Fried was picked up by the Yankees, but no worries this year’s starting pitching lineup is still a force to be reckoned with. Ronald Acuña Jr. is still recovering from ACL surgery, but the Braves strategically trouble shot that issue by picking up Jurickson Profar back in January.
At the end of the 2025 season the Braves will have a few difficult decisions to make with two key athletes who sit on an expiring contract this season.
