Tucker Davidson turned in another solid performance for the Atlanta Braves Thursday in a win over the Washington Nationals. Brian Snitker confirmed Saturday that Davidson will remain in the rotation for at least one more turn.
“We’re gonna we’re gonna need the fifth guy,” Snitker said when asked about Davidson. “First of the week sometime.”
The clues were there since Davidson wasn’t immediately sent back down. If things stay as they are, he would slot into Wednesday’s start in Philadelphia. Davidson allowed just one hit over 5 2/3 scoreless innings in his last start.
