Touki Toussaint pitched well again but the Atlanta Braves’ offense was powerless against Aaron Nola in a 2-1 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies.
Toussaint was the story in this game for the Braves as he turned in another masterful performance. He sat down the first six batters he faced and struck out three of them.
Alec Bohm singled to lead off the third inning but was erased on a 6-4-3 double play. The only blemish on Toussaint’s line came in the fourth inning when Jean Segura lifted a long fly to left that landed in the seats for a solo home run.
