Justyn-Henry Malloy will start in left field on Monday night in Atlanta.
The Detroit Tigers (34-37) and Atlanta Braves (38-31) meet at 7:20 p.m. at Truist Park.
It’s just the second outfield start of Malloy’s young career. He’s played primarily at DH since being selected from Triple-A Toledo.
Malloy finished his college career at Georgia Tech University in Atlanta.
Catcher Carson Kelly; infielder Zach McKinstry; and outfielders Akil Baddoo and Wenceel Perez will be available off the bench.
