1947 - Cincinnati right-hander Ewell Blackwell tosses a no-hitter in a 6-0 win over the Boston Braves.
1967 - Astros righty Don Wilson tosses the first of two career no-hitters defeating the Atlanta Braves and Phil Niekro 2-0. Wilson walked three and struck out 15.
2005 - Braves first baseman Julio Franco becomes the oldest player to hit multiple home runs in a game when he goes deep twice in Atlanta’s 6-1 win over the Reds.
