This Day in Braves History: July 21
1914 - Dick Rudolph throws a three-hitter to help the Braves to a 6-0 win over the Pirates. Rudolph will end the season with 27 wins tying Grover Cleveland Alexander for the league lead.
1953 - The Milwaukee Braves suffer the worst shutout loss in the history of the franchise losing to the Phillies, 10-0.
1963 - Dodgers manager Walter Alston is ejected from both games of a doubleheader as the Braves sweep the twin bill, 7-2 and 13-7.
