This Day in Braves History: July 15
1956 - The Braves sweep a doubleheader over the Pirates winning, 3-2 and 4-1. Hank Aaron goes 1-for-3 with a walk in the second game which is the start of a 25-game hitting streak which would be his longest of the season.
2011 - The Braves defeat the Nationals, 11-1 to record the 10,000th win in franchise history dating back to the 1876 Boston Red Caps.
