1962 - Warren Spahn hits career homer No. 31 off of Craig Anderson in a 6-1 win over the Mets.
1964 - The Braves and Mets establish a two-team record using a combined 22 pitchers in a doubleheader. Atlanta wins both games, 11-7 and 15-10. Chi-Chi Olivo gets the win in both games while throwing just 2 2/3 innings.
1970 - Orlando Cepeda hits three homers and drives in seven runs to help the Braves to an 8-3 win over the Cubs in Game 1 of a doubleheader.
