This Day in Braves History: June 3
1978 - The Braves and the Cubs tie a major league record by combining to use 14 pitchers in a single game. Each team used seven pitchers each with the Cubs coming out on top 8-6 at Wrigley Field.
2004 - 45-year old Julio Franco becomes the oldest player in major league history to hit a grand slam in an 8-4 win over the Phillies.
