ATLANTA — Every time that Ronald Acuña Jr. steals a base he swipes his hand in front of his face in a "You Can't See Me" gesture.
The Mets saw that move by the reigning National League Most Valuable Player a handful of times on Tuesday night.
After going 0-for-3 in the series opener, Acuña was back wreaking havoc against the Mets. The Braves outfielder reached base in his first four at-bats, scored three times and stole a trio of bases as the Mets could not keep up in a 6-5-loss in front of an announced crowd of 32,065 fans on Tuesday at Truist Park.
