I was at the ballpark way back on Opening Day when the Braves played the Phillies for the first time this season. For the fourth Opening Day in a row, I began watching the Braves with my expectations firmly placed on the floor. There was more hope than usual since I figured that the rebuilding phase was going to end but I also figured that we had another season to endure before I had any delusions of grandeur when it came to my favorite sports team.
With that being said, I’ll never forget the thrill I received when the Braves capped off an amazing comeback against Philadelphia with a walk-off homer from Nick Markakis.
