The Matt Olson trade took a slice out of the Braves prospect pool. Here’s an updated look at the system and the notable names within.

Atlanta Braves fans have long bemoaned Alex Anthopolous’s hesitance to use top prospects to make trades, and when he finally did so to acquire Matt Olson the price was steep. The Braves lost two of the system’s top three prospects in Cristian Pache and Shea Langeliers, their most recent first round pick in Ryan Cusick, and an exciting young arm in Joey Estes.
