Mike Foltynewicz had stumbled his way around the big leagues over parts of four seasons coming into 2018, but never really had any sort of success in his career. All of that changed last season when he put together one of the best years in recent memory for a Braves pitcher compiling 202 strikeouts over 183 innings pitched which was good enough for a 3.9 fWAR (17th overall in baseball).
So, after such a good season should we expect Folty to regress, remain or possibly even get better? The proof is in the pitch sequencing and location.
