As spring gives way to summer, Major League Baseball could be headed for an interesting trade deadline. There are a number of factors that could play a part in trade discussions for teams looking to strengthen themselves for the stretch run. The rise in injuries around the league has teams reluctant to trade as that depth could be hard to replace. Additionally, the lack of a minor league season in 2020 has limited the amount of looks that teams have given to lower level prospects.
