The Daily Chop: Travis D’Arnaud, Tyler Flowers nearing return

The Atlanta Braves will limp home after dropping two straight games in Tampa Bay but there is some good news as several key players are nearing a return. Brian Snitker revealed that catchers Tyler Flowers and Travis d’Arnaud worked out on Tuesday and could make their season debuts during the upcoming homestand. Flowers and d’Arnaud weren’t feeling well and were left behind as the team departed for New York and Opening Day. Alex Jackson and William Contreras have started at catcher for the Braves in their first five games.

Will Smith also continues to throw on the side and will likely get into a sim game soon.
