The Braves will enjoy an off-day on Thursday before taking on the Orioles in a three-game weekend series that begins Friday. The Braves are the hottest team in baseball while the Orioles are easily the coldest, having lost 14 consecutive games. Baltimore has yet to announce any of their starters for the upcoming series, but one can reasonably assume that Atlanta should be favored in each game. The Braves currently own a six-game win streak and a 31⁄2 game lead in the division. The season may have been tumultuous, but Atlanta appears to be positioned well.
