Ronald Acuña Jr. was out of the lineup for Friday’s series opener between the Atlanta Braves and the Milwaukee Brewers. Acuña suffered an ankle injury in Thursday’s loss to the Blue Jays. X-Rays were negative and he was declared day-to-day. Brian Snitker did say that there was a chance that Acuña would be ready to go on Saturday.
“The training staff said they’ll treat him today and see where he’s at,” Braves manager Brian Snitker said prior to Friday’s game. “They said, there’s a chance he could get all the swelling out and be good to go tomorrow.
