One night after suffering a sloppy loss, the Atlanta Braves exploded for five home runs on their way to a 15-3 rout of the Philadelphia Phillies. With the win, Atlanta again pulls even in the NL East standings with Philadelphia. Drew Smyly tossed four more scoreless innings and got out of a bases loaded jam in the fourth, but left the game between innings due to some soreness in his knee. Brian Snitker said after the game that Smyly will get checked out on Sunday.
