While we are all still waiting for the MLB offseason to come to life, I have been enjoying some very good Hall of Fame discussion. One of the big features that I have enjoyed over the last month is Joe Posnanski’s look at the 100 greatest eligible players that are not in the Hall of Fame at The Athletic. The last couple of days has produced articles on a couple of former Braves in Gary Sheffield (No. 24) and Fred McGriff (No. 23), both of which are well worth your time.

The Philadelphia Phillies announced Tuesday that Sam Fuld will be their next general manager.
