The MLB offseason has been largely quiet but the Atlanta Braves have been one of the few teams that has been active. That should not be that big a surprise as we have seen Alex Anthopoulos be aggressive early over the course of his time running Atlanta’s front office. So far the Braves have added Drew Smyly and Charlie Morton to the rotation. Negotiations with Marcell Ozuna likely won’t heat up until we know whether or not the league will utilize the universal DH again in 2021, but it would not be surprising to see the Braves add a reliever or bench player in the meantime.
