The Daily Chop: Braves set to host Marlins for exhibition games

The Braves announced on Friday that they intend to play two tune-up games against the Marlins on July 21st and 22nd, which will serve as exhibitions for the season beginning on July 24th. Both games will be televised on FOX Sports Southeast, along with an intrasquad scrimmage on July 20th.

Shawn compares the Braves schedule to the other teams in the NL East. With an increased emphasis on intradivisional games, Atlanta will face a tough slate in the 60-game schedule.

Obviously, there are plenty of similarities among the schedules for the Braves and their NL East rivals.
