It was of pretty critical importance that the Braves have a good week this week if they wanted to keep their chances of making the playoffs alive with such a soft slate of games. After taking two out of three from the Mets earlier in the week, they seemed to be on track to do just that.
However, Saturday’s game against the Marlins did not go to plan as the Braves’ offense continued to struggle in route to a 3-2 loss. Kyle Muller wasn’t at his best in the game, but he kept things perfectly manageable, but the offense just never got going against Sandy Alcantara and the Marlins.
