The Braves had to rally again on Friday evening, but thanks to homers from Ender Inciarte(!) and Austin Riley, they were tied late against the Phillies. However, some dubious umpiring and many squandered opportunities proved to be too much as the Braves got walked off by the score of 7-4.
There were a lot of nits to pick in this game from a replay call at second base in extras where Ender Inciarte was probably safe but definitely shouldn’t have been trying to steal in the first place, a weird strike zone, untimely double plays, and Adam Duvall getting hurt which led to Ender being in the game at all.
