Every fall, teams have what is called instructional league where they bring in minor league players with varying degrees of promise and experience into camp to give them some extra coaching and reps before they head into the offseason. This will help them get just a little bit of extra work in while the weather still allows for it (assuming the endless monsoon that is the state of Florida is feeling merciful) and help guide what these players work on in the offseason.
