The Atlanta Braves extended the contract for Alex Anthopoulos through the 2024 season, and gave him the new title of president of baseball operations.
They also extended Brian Snitker's contract through the 2021 season, which the team held a club option through anyways. Essentially they picked up the team option before the 2020 season.
Along with those two moves, the Atlanta Braves also went ahead and guaranteed Brian Snitker's entire coaching staff a contract for the 2021 season as well.
It seems as if the Atlanta Braves and Liberty Media are pleased with the direction of the Atlanta Braves, and frankly, coming off back to back division titles and having a team that looks loaded for the long haul, why wouldn't they be?
