The Atlanta Braves shuffle things up a bit in their bullpen on Wednesday afternoon as Chaz Roe goes on the disabled list with a right lat strain. The corresponding move was to call up right-handed pitcher Jason Hursh from Gwinnett.
Is Hursh the savior in Atlanta? Man, I hope so, but don’t count your chickens just yet. Let’s just hope he can help.
So far in 2017 with the Gwinnett Braves (Triple-A), Hursh has pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings, gave up three hits, no walks and struck out four batters.
