SUMMER BALL: United Linen lads sweep three during breakout weekend

As they say in Vegas, the Bartlesville United Linen Braves are on a roll.

The 17-and-under baseball team thundered to three-straight weekend runs to rise about .500 (4-3) in the early season.

Following are game summaries.

——

Braves 11, Glenpool 7

Bartlesville overcame 10 errors on Friday to K.O. a Glenpool team that had beaten them just three days earlier, 16-3.

In Friday’s rematch, Braves batters tallied 14 walks and six hit batsmen to load the bases like a Los Angeles freeway at Friday rush hour.

The Braves needed just a few hits — and that’s all they produced — to do the rest.
