After dropping a close one in Game 1 of Wednesday’s doubleheader, the Atlanta Braves will try again to secure a series win in the night cap against the San Diego Padres. Bryse Wilson will make his first start for Atlanta since June 20 against Padres lefty Reiss Knehr.
For Game 2, Stephen Vogt returns to the lineup and will hit sixth. Guillermo Heredia slides back to seventh. Orlando Arcia, who was 0-for-3 in the first game, drops to the eighth spot.
For the Padres, Trent Grisham returns to the leadoff spot for Game 2 and will be in center.
