Spring training roundup: Braves' Touki Toussaint sharp, beats Twins

One-time hot prospect Touki Toussaint bolstered his hopes of making the Braves' roster with three shutout innings in Atlanta's 8-5, eight-inning win over the Minnesota Twins on Friday in Fort Myers, Fla.

The 24-year-old right-hander lowered his spring ERA to 1.80 over five innings after his solidouting Friday. He gave up one hit, struck out one and walked none. Toussaint had walked two and struck out four in his previous two-inning stint.

Sean Kazmar Jr. hit a three-run homer for the Braves and Johan Camargo added a two-run shot. The Twins mustered just seven hits off Atlanta pitching, only two for extra bases, with Luis Arreaz doubling twice.
