The Rays are back in Port Charlotte today, with lefty Ryan Yabrough on the mound as they host the Braves, first pitch at 1:05.
Yarbrough worked during the offseason on building arm strength to increase his velocity, and the Rays have been pleased with his showing in bullpen sessions and live batting practice. Today will be his first appearance in an exhibition game.
Other Rays slated to pitch include Jeffrey Springs, Colin Poche, Pete Fairbanks, Andrew Kittredge and Jason Adam.
The Braves are starting Charlie Morton, who pitched for the Rays in 2019 and 2020.
