This is a post about Lorenzo Cain, or more accurately, players like Lorenzo Cain. But, before that, I want to tell two short stories. They’ll be very short, I promise.
Story 1: Once upon a time, there was a really, really fast center fielder. He was really, really fast. No one knew if he would be able to hit. No one knew if he’d able to be a great center fielder, even though he was really fast. For a while, he didn’t hit, and he wasn’t a great center fielder, and it wasn’t okay.
