The Braves announced another round of moves on Friday, with 10 players leaving big league camp, including three of the team's top 10 prospects.
Atlanta reassigned right-hander Mike Soroka (the team's No. 3 prospect, according to MLB Pipeline), left-hander Kolby Allard (No. 6) and outfielder Cristian Pache (No. 9) to Minor League camp. The Braves' No. 27 prospect, left-hander Ricardo Sanchez, was optioned to Double-A Mississippi.
The top prospects excelled in Spring Training, especially considering their age. Soroka, 20, allowed one run on two hits over five innings with five strikeouts, and fellow 20-year-old Allard tossed three scoreless innings.
