The weekend didn't turn out the way the Milwaukee Brewers had hoped it would.
Nevertheless, their showing against what is the best team in the National League – and quite possibly in all of baseball – in the Atlanta Braves this weekend was encouraging.
Despite being badly out-gunned offensively, the Brewers were in all three games and only a couple innings away Sunday afternoon from clinching the series before Ozzie Albies hit a three-run home run off Elvis Peguero in the eighth to decide a 4-2 affair at American Family Field.
