MILWAUKEE -- More surprising than their first-place status might be the fact the Braves are nearing the All-Star break wondering where they might be without Anibal Sanchez.
Sanchez added to the splendor of his surprising season as he proved dominant into the seventh inning of Saturday afternoon's 5-1 win over the Brewers at Miller Park. His effort was aided by Freddie Freeman, who recorded his first three-hit game in nearly a month.
Johan Camargo's two-run single in the first inning provided Sanchez all the support he needed to help the Braves snap their season-long four-game losing streak.
