ATLANTA -- Braves starter Anibal Sanchez exited in the fifth inning of Tuesday night's game against the Reds at SunTrust Park as a precaution due to cramping in his right calf.

Sanchez appeared to show discomfort and call for time behind the mound before facing Joey Votto with two outs and a runner on third. After the training staff, manager Brian Sniker and pitching coach Chuck Hernandez checked on him and he threw warmup pitches, the right-hander came out, with Matt Wisler taking over on the mound.
