Ronald Acuña Jr. leaves game with groin tightness, to be evaluated tomorrow

As you may already know, Ronald Acuña Jr. left tonight’s game against the Brewers with what the team later called groin tightness. He appeared to suffer the injury beating out an infield single in the seventh inning. That play ended up scoring the game’s second run, but the rally fell short and the Braves lost the game anyway, adding insult to Acuña’s injury.

He was running down the first-base line when the injury occurred. We will have more information when it comes in.
