Ronald Acuña Jr. continued to ravage the Grapefruit League with another good day at the plate, as he drove in two of the Braves’ four runs in a 6-4 defeat against the Nationals.
Atlanta’s spring squad wasted no time getting the offense going against Patrick Corbin. Ozzie Albies led off the game with a single and wile he got wiped out in an attempted double play off the bat of Dansby Swanson, Dansby still made it home after Acuña walloped a double out to left field. Acuña added a stolen base and the Braves threatened to add more after Adam Duvall worked a walk, but Corbin was able to get out of the inning with just one run allowed.
