The Braves and Ronald Acuña Jr. received encouraging news following Wednesday’s 5-2 victory as X-rays taken on the star outfielder’s elbow came back negative. Acuña also underwent a CT scan, and the results of that test will be announced on Thursday.
While everyone will continue to hold their breath until the results of the CT scan are announced, numerous Braves beat writers said it doesn’t seem to be a serious injury. Acuña might miss a few games as he deals with soreness and discomfort, but (obviously) things could’ve been much worse as Atlanta tries to win its first division title since 2013.
