Rome Braves eliminated from the playoffs by Lexington

Rome has had a remarkable season with a crazy amount of turnover, but unfortunately their season came to an end last night as they fell to Lexington in the opening round of the playoffs. Walter Borkovich performed ably in his start as he gave up two runs (just one earned) in five innings of work.

Unfortunately, a Braves on a rehab assignment allowed Lexington to blow the game wide open. Jose Ramirez came on to pitch in the eighth inning and was only able to record one out while giving up four runs on four hits and a walk before he was pulled in favor of Brooks Wilson, but the damage had been done.
