ATLANTA, Ga. (WKBN) – Bon Nightengale of USA Today is reporting that former Cleveland Guardians pitcher Connor Gillispie is signing a one-year Major League deal with the Atlanta Braves.
The 27-year-old right-hander made his MLB Debut with Cleveland last season. He came to the Guardians’ organization in the minor league phase Rule 5 Draft last December.
Gillispie appeared in three games with the Guardians last season. He pitched eight innings, allowing two earned runs on four hits, with eight strikeouts in eight innings of work.

He was originally selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 9th round of the 2019 MLB Draft.
