The Reds home opener is almost here, and Cincinnati couldn't be more ready to bring back its favorite unofficial holiday and the start of baseball this year.
It's been a tenuous start to this season of Major League Baseball with a lockout, player trades and more, but the Reds will play the first home game of the season against the Cleveland Guardians at Great American Ballpark on April 12.
This isn't the Reds first official game of the season (that was April 7 against defending World Series champions the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park in Atlanta), but it will be the first at home this year.
