ATLANTA — The Rays open post All-Star break play tonight in Atlanta, facing a familiar foe with Charlie Morton on the mound.
Morton spent the past two seasons with the Rays, then become a free agent when they declined his option after the season. He signed a one-year, $15 million deal with the Braves.
The Rays appear to have their complete roster available for tonight’s game, with manager Kevin Cash saying that all results were negative from rapid testing for coronavirus done Friday morning before boarding the plane and heading north.
