The Atlanta Braves could be getting a giant boost on Friday according to AJC reporter Gabe Burns. Closer Arodys Vizcaino could rejoin the team when they get back to town just in time for the stretch run.
Vizcaino has been on the DL for some time now, but automatically becomes one of the best bullpen options the Braves have if healthy. Before his injury he was pitching to the tune of a 1.65 ERA(!) and 3.16 FIP over 33 innings with 34 strikeouts.
The Braves also got some bad news as it seems former setup man Jose Ramirez won’t return to the Majors until at least 2019.
