The Giants were all over R.A. Dickey on Sunday afternoon as the Braves fell by a score of 7-1
Dickey surrendered seven runs (six earned) over six innings of work. He struggled with command of his knuckleball all day while walking five batters and giving up six hits. San Francisco got him for two runs in the first inning, four in the second and then one more in the third. To his credit, he was able to save the bullpen and finish out the next three innings without too much trouble.
For all the talk of how bad Bartolo Colon has been, Dickey has arguably been worse.
