Preview: Round 2 for Newcomb as Marlins come to town

Last week, the future became now as Sean Newcomb made his major league debut in the first game of a doubleheader against the Mets. Watching him was a thrill: he came out sharp, crisp, and other adjectives descriptive of aesthetically-pleasing, high-quality performances. In total, he allowed just one unearned run on four hits while pitching into the seventh. Can he repeat or build upon this success? I’m sure a lot of eyes will be tuning in to find out.

The Braves are 3-2 against the Marlins so far this year, but those five games have all come in Miami, as this will be the first trip for the Fish up to SunTrust Park.
