Preston Tucker keys Braves in 5-3 win over Phillies

Tuesday’s game featured fireworks from Ronald Acuna and Freddie Freeman (the best kind of fireworks) and, in advance of Wednesday’s game, there was an interesting change for the Atlanta Braves. Entering the day, the plan was for Max Fried to take the ball at the outset but, hours before the first pitch, Julio Teheran was inserted into the proceedings.

Julio Teheran will start this afternoon’s game. Max Fried had been listed as the scheduled starter. He’ll now follow Teheran today.

Though Teheran was far from flawless, he navigated five innings while scattering six hits, allowing two runs and exiting with the lead.
