PHILADELPHIA - Skip Schumaker is baseball fans everywhere.
The Marlins’ manager had just watched his team get bludgeoned by the Phillies in back-to-back games and be swept out of the wild-card round of the playoffs.
It would have been completely understandable if he didn’t want to see any more of the opponent that ran the Marlins out of Citizens Bank Park.
But Schumaker said he’d tune his TV on Saturday night to watch the Phillies play the Atlanta Braves in Game 1 of the National League Division series - an epic matchup of two powerhouse teams in his division.
