Apr. 20—Pebblebrook's baseball team is getting a taste of the big leagues.
The Falcons will face Newnan on Wednesday in a Region 2AAAAAAA game at Truist Park.
After tornadoes ravaged the Newnan community last month, causing heavy damage to the high school, the Cougars have had to find different places to play their games, and the Atlanta Braves helped them make it happen.
First pitch Wednesday is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. The game will be considered Newnan's senior night.
Braves pitcher Will Smith, a native of Newnan, started an online auction in conjunction with the team at www.
