One is enough, Brewers blank Braves

The Milwaukee Brewers opened a weeklong homestand by beating the Atlanta Braves 1-0 in the series opener at American Family Field Monday night. The Crew managed only five hits and the only run of the game was scored in the 6th inning when Hunter Renfro doubled, moved to third on a ground out and came home when Braves starter Ian Anderson uncorked a wild pitch.

The one run was enough as the Milwaukee pitching was outstanding. Freddy Peralta worked seven innings, allowing just two hits with one walk while striking out 10. Devin Williams came on in the 8th to strike out the side and Josh Hader made it 14 saves in 14 appearances by fanning all three batters he faced.
