Norris allows one run, Francoeur homers

JUPITER, Fla. -- Jeff Francoeur provided the big smash, a two-run homer in the fourth inning, and the Braves' pitching brought plenty of heat, combining to strike out 11 batters on Thursday in a 5-2 win over the Marlins at Roger Dean Stadium.

Francoeur connected on his two-run shot to left off Justin Nicolino with one out in the fourth, putting the Braves ahead, 3-1.
